I am a people person with a big heart! I love connecting with my existing network as well as meeting new humans. I am a seasoned talent acquisition specialist, with more than 16 years of experience in temporary staffing and executive searches.
I’ve lived and breathed the agency world! I began as a brand ambassador, field manager and mascot. Within a few weeks, I accepted an Account Coordinator position at a start-up experiential agency in Toronto.
I worked on cool brands and received phenomenal guidance and leadership, and we were lean. We worked on decks and presented program concepts and budgets by day, and we broke down boxes in the back of cargo vans at night. I loved it!! I was good at account management, however, I excelled in casting and staffing! I became a Talent Director within a few years, hiring people for various programs and events in Canada and the US.
As Managing Director at AIP Staffing Inc., I go beyond a traditional search by partnering with my clients to discover their ideal people profiles in a variety of industries including PR, XM, Media, Technology, Automotive, Finance, Hospitality, and Cannabis. I’ve launched staffing divisions for Canadian and Global marketing agencies, shaping the industry while placing more than 20,000 people in exciting roles. Hiring people from every corner of Canada, I have extensive knowledge in the areas of inclusion and diversity, future of work, career management, performance management, change management, and leadership development for new graduates and junior hires.
Proud of
Staffing the 2010 Canadian Olympic Torch Relay as well as the 2010 Winter Olympics. I will never forget standing beside my teammates at the Opening Ceremony in Vancouver with a tremendous sense of pride, accomplishment, and overall sense of fulfillment. I remember watching the Closing Ceremony from my hotel room with the same feelings yet, no voice and a terrible sinus infection. It was well worth all of it!!
